Cobra CA M29 BT Replacement Microphone for 29 LTD BT, 29 LX BT, and 29 WX NW BT Bluetooth CB Radios

My 29 LX BT had an awful feedback squeal every time I keyed up, and everyone on the channel was getting on my case. Plugged this mic in and the squeal is gone completely. Echo function works like it should and my reports went from 'you're breaking up' to 'you sound great.' Should've replaced it a year ago.

Audio out was weak on my old mic and people kept asking me to repeat. This replacement brought my modulation back to normal. Bluetooth pairing reconnected on the first try, which I was worried about. Only knock: the cord feels slightly lighter than the original, but it's held up fine so far.

Dropped right onto my 29 LTD BT, paired right up, sounds great.

The mic itself sounds good and the echo is adjustable, which I like. But getting it to pair with the radio's Bluetooth took several attempts and a manual I had to find online. Once connected it holds fine. If it had paired easily I'd give it five stars.

I do a lot of local chatter and after years of use my original mic was so muddy that regulars stopped acknowledging me. Swapped in this replacement and within an hour two guys asked what I'd done to my rig because I sounded like a new radio. The noise handling is decent and the PTT feels right. Worth double the price honestly.

Bought this as a spare for the truck after my original took a fall. Tested it side by side with the factory mic and honestly can't tell a difference in audio. Bluetooth works flawlessly. Nice to have on the shelf for when the inevitable happens.

Audio quality is fine, but the echo knob on mine sticks and jumps around when I adjust it. Ended up setting it once and leaving it. Annoying for a control that's supposed to be adjustable on the fly.

My 29 WX NW BT was getting complaints about low audio and intermittent dropouts. New mic fixed both. The cord length is good for my mounting position and the connector seats snugly. Four stars because the packaging was minimal, but the product itself is doing exactly what Cobra says.
