Goal Zero 8mm Input 30 ft. Extension Cable – Solar Panel Extension for Boulder & Nomad

This cable lets me keep my Yeti inside the RV while the Boulder panel sits out in full sun thirty feet away. No noticeable power loss and the cable feels rugged enough to survive being stepped on and packed repeatedly. Should have bought this years ago.

Thirty feet is a lot of cable but Goal Zero's build quality holds up. Coils down okay for storage. Happy with the purchase.

In winter the sun angle is low and my panels need to sit in a very specific spot in the yard. This extension gives me the flexibility to place them optimally while the Yeti stays warm indoors. Charging performance is indistinguishable from a direct connection. Excellent product.

I was worried about efficiency loss over 30 feet but my input wattage reads essentially the same as with the short cable. Great value on sale.

Works fine and I have no complaints about performance, but thirty feet of cable is genuinely heavy and bulky for backpacking. Better for basecamp or home use.

My panels get sun on one side of the yard, my power station lives on the other. This extension solves that completely. Thick, well-insulated, quality connectors. Zero regrets.

Bought it for my Nomad 50 to reach around the house. Works as expected, feels durable. Storage bag would be nice but not a dealbreaker.

The 8mm end on mine makes a poor connection unless held at an angle. My panel charges fine with the original cable so it's clearly this extension. Disappointed given the price.
