This thing is seriously rugged. The hinged briefcase design makes it easy to carry out to the campsite, and the tempered glass shrugs off being tossed in the truck bed. Charges my Yeti 1000 fast on clear days.

I've owned cheaper foldable panels and they all fell apart within a season. The Boulder 100 is a different animal — aluminum frame, real glass, solid hinges. On a sunny afternoon I get consistent 70-80W into my Yeti power station. Worth every penny for something that will last years.

It's heavy, no way around it — this is not a backpacking panel. But for basecamp, van use, or home backup it's fantastic. Kicks out solid wattage even in partial shade better than my old folding panel did. Knocked a star off for the weight.

Plugs straight into my Yeti with no fuss. Set it out in the morning and the battery is topped off by mid-afternoon. The kickstand-style briefcase angle is easy to adjust toward the sun.

Output is as advertised on clear days and the build is genuinely tough. My complaints: it's a two-hand carry at 20 pounds, and the cable stowage is awkward. If you keep it stationary it's great; if you move it around a lot, consider the Ranger.

Literal hail bounced off the tempered glass while my old flexible panel would've been shredded. That sold me for life. Output has stayed consistent after two summers of use.

The panel works fine when it works, but mine showed up with a crack across one corner. Packaging was just thin foam. Customer service was responsive and replaced it, but check yours carefully on arrival.

Ran it on a cold but sunny December day in Montana and still pulled 50+ watts. Snow slides right off the glass. Very happy with winter performance.

No frills, just a tough panel that produces honest power. The hinges feel beefy and the handle is comfortable. Wish the integrated cable were a bit longer.
