Van life for the past year and this kit handles everything. The 400W panel charges the Yeti fast enough that I basically never worry about power anymore. Induction cooktop mornings, laptops all day, movie nights — the 2000W inverter doesn't flinch. Best money I've spent on the van, honestly.

The panel is genuinely large when unfolded, so storage takes planning in a smaller rig. But the charge speed makes up for it — 4.5 hours of good sun and I'm back to full. Well-built hinges and kickstand. Happy overall.

Charging speed is excellent, no complaints there. But the Nomad 400 is heavy and awkward for one person to position, especially on uneven ground. Great for basecamp, less great if you're moving constantly.
