The Boulder 200 Briefcase panels are built like tanks — glass, aluminum frame, actual hinges. I use this setup at a remote worksite and it has survived wind, dust, and being hauled in a truck bed weekly. The 6000X runs my table saw, battery chargers, and job site radio all day. We run a small fridge, lights, water pump, and laptops at our cabin and this handles everything with plenty of headroom. The Boulder panels mount right on our south-facing wall and charge even in winter. Setup was straightforward for someone with basic DIY skills. Two years of gas generator anxiety solved.

Everything about this kit screams quality, from the enclosure to the cabling. The panels are heavy and semi-permanent by design, so plan your placement carefully. The 6000X itself is very heavy too — this is not portable power, it's backup power. Once installed it performs flawlessly.

The Yeti 6000X is fantastic — no complaints there. My frustration is with the Boulder 200s: they're fixed-angle briefcase panels, and getting the right tilt and orientation takes trial and error. Output drops noticeably with any shading. Great system once dialed in, but expect some fussing.

The power station performs as advertised, but one of my Boulder 200 briefcases lost a hinge pin after a couple months of normal use — the panel now flops open. Quality control on the panels seems inconsistent. Warranty process is underway but it's been slow.
