Installed the Cerbo GX MK2 as the hub for my MultiPlus, SmartSolar, and BMV. VRM remote access is flawless — I check my battery bank from my phone anywhere. Setup took maybe an hour and the MK2's faster processor makes the UI noticeably snappier than my friend's original Cerbo.
Hooked this up to my Raymarine MFD and it displays tank levels, battery state, and alarm status right on the chartplotter. Victron documentation was solid. My charter customers love being able to see the power state without opening the electrical panel.
Does everything promised but expect to spend an evening reading the manual if you've never used a GX device. VRM portal is fantastic once configured. Docked a star because the touchscreen isn't included and I had to buy a GX Touch separately to really get the most out of it.
Was on vacation when VRM sent an alert that my charge controller had dropped offline. A neighbor checked my shed and found a chewed cable. Worth every penny for that alone. Bluetooth via VictronConnect works fine for local tweaks too.
Overall it works, but the first firmware update bricked the settings and I had to reconfigure everything from scratch. VRM connectivity is reliable now. Wish the MQTT setup was more plug-and-play for home automation folks like me.

Nothing wrong with the unit, but for my two-battery van setup it's honestly more than I need and the configuration options were overwhelming. Returned it for a simpler BMV display. My own fault, but be honest about your system size before buying.
I've used cheaper monitoring hubs and they all fell short. The Cerbo GX MK2 integrates every Victron device seamlessly and even plays nice with my Victron inverter's generator start/stop function. The relay and digital I/O options open up serious automation. At this sale price it's a no-brainer for any serious off-grid build.
