The Victron Energy Lynx Distributor is a modular M8 DC bus bar with four fuse-protected circuits plus positive and negative bus bars, built for 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems. It is the best-fit choice for Victron system builders who want clean, safe, monitored DC distribution. Buy it now for $87.67 — 61% off the $226.65 compare-at price — and apply coupon OUTPOST12 for an extra 12% discount at checkout.
Each of the four DC groups holds an individual fuse sized to that circuit's wire gauge and load. Choose MIDI/MEGA-class fuses appropriate to your current ratings, and match fuse ratings to the smallest conductor in each circuit.
Compared to generic fuse blocks, the Lynx Distributor handles high continuous currents via M8 studs and integrates with the Victron Lynx ecosystem for modular expansion. Standalone fuse blocks cost less but lack bus-bar capacity and monitoring — at this sale price, the Lynx is the affordable, higher-value option.

Mount the unit, connect system positive and negative to the M8 studs, and run each DC circuit through its own fuse slot. For LED fuse indication, connect to a Lynx Shunt; monitoring then works via VictronConnect or a Lynx Smart BMS and GX device. Professional installation is recommended.
Each of the four DC groups accepts individual high-current fuses sized to that circuit's wire gauge and load. Always match the fuse rating to the smallest conductor in the circuit.
LED fuse indication requires a connection to a Victron Lynx Shunt. Without the shunt link, the LEDs will not indicate fuse status.
Yes. It supports 12V, 24V, and 48V battery systems and integrates with the full Victron Lynx modular ecosystem.

This thing transformed my battery bay. The M8 terminals take heavy cable lugs beautifully, the four fused slots mean I can isolate each circuit, and the LED monitoring shows at a glance if a fuse blows. Modular design means I can add another unit later as I expand. Professional-grade hardware, plain and simple.
Had a fuse let go on my inverter circuit at the lake and spotted the dark LED instantly instead of troubleshooting for an hour. Build quality is exactly what you'd expect from Victron. Worth the money for the peace of mind alone.
The Lynx Distributor itself is excellent — machined terminals, solid housing, easy to wire. Just note that the end covers and extra modules add up. Also measure your cable lugs first; M8 studs won't take some of the cheaper thin lugs without washers. Functionally though, no complaints after six months.
Replaced a mess of individual fuse holders and spaghetti wiring with this single unit. Everything is labeled, torqued properly, and accessible. Passed electrical inspection with zero comments. Highly recommended for anyone with multiple high-current circuits.
Quality is undeniable, but if you only have two or three circuits, this may be overkill. The four fused slots filled up fast on my setup and I wish I'd sized up. Does what it says, just plan capacity carefully.
Unit works fine electrically, but the plastic cover arrived cracked and customer service response has been slow. Expected better packaging at this price point.
M8 terminals are beefy, LEDs work, install took 30 minutes. Perfect.
Used this in my van conversion to distribute power between the inverter, DC-DC charger, and fridge circuits. Compact enough for tight spaces and the modular design is smart. Docking one star because fuse holders are sold separately.
Paralleled two units for my 24V marine setup with room to grow. Everything mates up cleanly. This is how DC distribution should be done.
If your battery compartment looks like a snake pit, buy this. Clean, safe, professional.
