Solid enclosure for my 150/45 controller. The plastic feels substantial, not flimsy like some aftermarket boxes, and it covers all the wiring terminals so nothing can accidentally short. Took me maybe 15 minutes to mount the controller inside and route the cables. Only wish the mounting screws had been a touch longer for my wall material, but that's a minor gripe.
It fits my SmartSolar 250/60 fine and definitely makes the install look better and safer. Just feels like it should include a few more cable glands or accessories at this price. Works though, no complaints on fit or quality of the box itself.
I installed a 250/70 in my sailboat's electrical locker and bare live terminals down there always made me nervous. This enclosure covers everything, the lid closes with confidence, and the whole thing is genuinely marine-tough plastic. My electrician friend looked at the install and assumed I'd paid way more for it. If you have a 60-70A controller in a wet or confined space, just get this.
