Cobra Microphone Bracket for MR F45 / MR F55 / MR F75 Fixed Mount VHF Radios, White (Item #250-003)

Snapped right onto my MR F55, mic clicks in solid. Done.

My dog knocked the original mic bracket off the dash of my MR F75 and it snapped when it hit the deck. This white replacement matches the radio and my boat's helm perfectly — same color, same clip tension as factory. Two screws, five minutes, and the VHF is mounted properly again. At $2.95 there's no reason not to keep a spare on board.

The bracket itself fits my MR F45 exactly right and holds the mic securely, even in rough chop. My only gripe: the included mounting screws stripped easily, so I used my own stainless ones instead. For a marine environment, do yourself a favor and swap in stainless hardware anyway. Bracket gets full marks.

This is my second one — the first has been on my center console in saltwater air for two years and is only now getting stiff. The plastic holds up better than you'd expect. Buy two and keep a spare in the tackle box like I do.

It's the correct Cobra part for the MR F55 and mounts easily, so no complaints on fitment. However, the mic clip is noticeably looser than my original bracket — the mic sits a little loose and rattles at speed unless I seat it just right. It works, and at this price I won't complain much, but it doesn't feel quite as snug as factory.

Thought a broken mic bracket meant replacing the whole VHF unit, which would've cost me hundreds. Found this for under three bucks and it restored my MR F75 completely. The fit is identical to the original part. Can't overstate how happy I am with this purchase.

Replaced a sun-warped bracket on my flybridge radio. This one is thicker plastic than the old one, and the mic retention feels positive. Installation was straightforward, though you'll want to drill new pilot holes since the hole spacing differs slightly from my aftermarket setup. Happy overall.
