Open box deal was too good to pass up and honestly I can't find a mark on it. Glass is flawless, hinges are tight, and it charges my Yeti 1000 exactly as expected. At this price it's a no-brainer.

Third Goal Zero panel I've owned and the Boulder line is the most rugged. The aluminum frame and tempered glass shrug off being lugged around the farm, and the canvas case protects it in the truck bed. Pulling about 85W in good sun into my Yeti. Extremely satisfied.

It's a brick — you feel every one of the ~20 pounds when carrying it by the handle. But that heft means quality. Consistent output, weathered a hailstorm without damage, and the briefcase format makes storage easy. Heavy but I trust it.

Saved over $150 and the panel works perfectly. Chains on the case, glass intact, connectors look unused. Charges my Yeti 500X about 35% a day in Colorado sun. Would buy open box again without hesitation.

Output is a bit below the rated 100W on hazy days, which is normal for solar, but in direct sun it performs well. The hinged canvas bag is genuinely nice quality. No complaints about the open box condition.

We're off-grid in northern Arizona and this is our second Boulder 100. I'm 71 and the briefcase design means I can carry it out each morning without help. It's survived monsoon winds and two years of dust. Output hasn't degraded noticeably. Goal Zero gear just lasts.

Works fine electrically, but the open box unit had noticeable scratches on the aluminum frame, more than I expected from the listing. Performance is unaffected, so it's a fair deal at the discount. Just set expectations.

Prop it against a log or use the built-in stand angles, plug into the Yeti, and forget about it. By evening I've recovered everything we used overnight. The tempered glass wipes clean easily after dusty trips. This is the set-and-forget panel I wanted.
