The Orion-Tr Smart charges my 24V bank well and the app tuning options are excellent. It does get quite warm at full output, so mount it somewhere ventilated. Had to relocate mine once for that reason. Performance is otherwise spot on.
I'd tried cheap isolators and they either drained my starting battery or never fully charged the house side. This charger actually boosts the voltage properly so my second battery reaches full charge even on shorter drives. The engine-run detection is clever — it only charges when the alternator is actually running. Install took an afternoon with a decent wiring diagram. Very impressed.
The unit itself works and Bluetooth setup is fine, but the printed instructions are minimal and I ended up watching YouTube videos to wire it correctly. For the price I expected better documentation. Electrically it's been reliable for about four months.
