Running two years now in the Arizona heat and it hasn't skipped a beat. Convection cooling was a smart choice — no fans to fail. The app shows every detail you could want and the load output settings are flexible. Docked one star only because the terminal access is tight for thick battery cables. Otherwise excellent.
Works beautifully but be very careful with your Voc math in cold weather — I nearly exceeded the 150V limit on cold mornings with my string config. Had to rewire to two parallel strings. The unit itself charges great and the Bluetooth app is genuinely useful. Just do your homework first.
Installed this on our RV with 1200W of roof solar and it handles everything our 48V system can throw at it. Controller charges fine, but the Bluetooth signal barely reaches 15 feet through my shed wall, making remote monitoring useless for my layout. Wish I'd gotten the VE.Direct version and used a cable. Hardware performance itself has been acceptable.
