Replaced an old diode isolator in my camper and the difference is night and day. No voltage drop means both batteries actually reach full charge now. Runs cool even at high alternator output. Should have done this years ago.
Installation was straightforward if you know your way around a wiring diagram. Both my starter and house banks charge properly from the single alternator. It does get warm during heavy charging but that's normal for a FET isolator. Quality terminals and housing.
