The ArgoDiode series uses Schottky diodes for a lower voltage drop than standard silicon diode isolators — typically around 0.3–0.5V at load depending on current. The built-in compensation diode lets you slightly increase alternator output voltage to offset the drop over the isolator, preserving full charge voltage at the batteries.
How the Compensation Diode Works
